Editorial Contact: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PROCESS EXPO CONTINUES TO GROW
“When many shows are declining in both size and attendance, it is gratifying to see the continuing growth of this major international event”, said Ashley Hunter, President of Odenberg Engineering and Chairman of FPSA, sponsors of PROCESS EXPO. New to 2006 PROCESS EXPO was a Tasting Pavilion where suppliers of ingredients and flavors distributed samples of products utilizing their ingredients and flavors. Also premiering at PROCESS EXPO this year was the “2006 State of the Industry” study developed jointly by FPSA and Mintel, a global supplier of consumer, media and market research. “We are most excited about the reception that this study received at the show”, said Steve Schlegel, President and CEO of FPSA. “The study presents new perspective and insight into the supply chain for the ingredients and flavor industry”, he added. A meaningful measure of the success of a show is the return rate of exhibitors to the next event. “Sign up for the 2007 PROCESS EXPO exceeded all expectations”, reported George Melnykovich, President and COO of FPSA. “With 11 months to go, we are already larger than the final size of the 2005 show in Las Vegas”, he concluded. PROCESS EXPO 2007 will again be co-located with PACK EXPO and will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, October 15-17, 2007. PROCESS EXPO 2008 will return to McCormick Place in Chicago and occupy the new West Building, November 9-13, 2008.
